Tinkerbell may be the tiniest member of the Racing Hearts herd, but she has absolutely no doubt that she is in charge.

This adorable Shetland pony is small in size and enormous in personality. As the boss of the paddock, Tinkerbell keeps everyone organised, ponies and horses included, and brings a wonderful mix of cheekiness, confidence and charm to the centre.

Tinkerbell is a favourite for pony rides, especially for our smallest riders who are just beginning their horse journey. Her size makes her approachable and less intimidating, helping children experience the joy of being around ponies in a safe and positive way.

She also plays an important role in non-ridden sessions, including work with our occupational therapist. For participants who may not be ready to ride, or who benefit from ground-based interaction, Tinkerbell offers a gentle and engaging way to build confidence, connection, sensory awareness and trust.
