Volunteer Induction Training

Interested in volunteering at Racing Hearts McIntyre Centre? Our Volunteer Induction Training is the mandatory first step for all new volunteers before joining the team.

This session will introduce volunteers to Racing Hearts protocols, centre expectations and essential horse-handling skills, including grooming, tacking, catching, rugging and safety around horses. We’ll also cover arrival procedures, lesson support expectations and how volunteers can safely and confidently assist around the centre. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive early and shadow during the afternoon lessons before the formal induction begins. This is a great opportunity to observe how lessons run, meet the team and get a feel for the environment before completing the training.

Time: 3:30pm – 5:00pm (ish)

Location: Racing Hearts McIntyre Centre, Pinjarra Hills

Important requirements:
