At Racing Hearts, we believe in the life-changing connection between people and horses. Our not-for-profit centre brings together charitable programs, riding for the disabled, inclusive riding lessons (for all abilities), equine-assisted therapy, off-track thoroughbred retraining, an extensive volunteer program and regular community events — all in one welcoming, inclusive space. We are a family and a community first. Every lesson, visit, donation, volunteer hour and event helps support our horses, our programs and the people who rely on this centre. Racing Hearts is a sanctuary for retired racehorses transitioning into new careers. We have successfully rehabilitated and rehomed over 100 retired racehorses, proving that second chances change lives—for both humans and horses.
The McIntyre Centre is our historic Pinjarra Hills equestrian centre, continuing the legacy of Peter and June McIntyre. Today the centre provides inclusive riding, therapy, education, community programs, events, and retired racehorse programs.
We provide equine-assisted therapy programs supporting people of all abilities through connection, movement, confidence-building, and therapeutic work with horses. Continuing a 60-year legacy of inclusive, life-changing horse programs in Pinjarra Hills.
